How do pickups and deliveries work?

We offer same day pickup and next day delivery at no extra charge – Guaranteed!

We work with you to arrange the most convenient time for you to have us arrive.

When you call us to arrange a pickup we have you tell us when you’d like us to be there – we give you a two hour window and our driver will be there within those two hours.

Our service includes early morning or late evening pickups and deliveries at no extra charge!

Your delivery is scheduled much in the same way as your pickup – according your needs! This is usually arranged during your initial phone call but we are flexible if you need us to be.

Your clothes are returned to you perfectly folded and sorted according to type, size, age (if possible) and gender so all you have to do is simply put them into drawers!

Do I need to sort my articles before you pick them up?

No!  We do that for you. You simply put your clothes, towels, shirts, socks, pants, duvets, comforters and anything else that you’d like washed into bags and tie a knot in the top. That’s it!

We sort your clothes by colour, type, size and gender  - so you don’t have to.

Can I specify special instructions for my order?

Yes!  We accommodate a great number of special requests ranging from special detergent options to the temperature of your wash and dry. In addition, we are happy to use a detergent that you may want to supply to us for specialty items such as baby clothes.

Are there any items that you do not wash?

We will wash anything that you would normally wash. We advise that you segregate any items that specify “dry clean only” as we do not check every article to ensure that it is safe to wet clean. If you have items that require dry cleaning simply tell us and we’ll take care of that for you separately. If you’re not sure if an item should be dry cleaned or wet cleaned simply ask us about it and we’ll let you know how it should be handled.

Besides clothing, are there any other items that you can wash for me?

Absolutely! We will wash your Duvets, Comforters, Drapes, Bath Mats, Jackets, Table Cloths, Pillows, Mattress Pads and small rugs.

Are you eco-friendly?

Yes! Our processes and procedures are designed to ensure that your items are perfectly cleaned with the environment in mind! We only use phosphate free detergents and our facility is equipped with state of the art, modern super high efficiency washers and dryers that are much more efficient than even the highest end home washers and dryers. In addition, our facility filters every drop of ‘grey’ water of lint before it returns to the city’s water system.

Will my clothes be segregated from other orders?

Yes! Guaranteed! Each and every order is processes separately from any others. We have perfected a system that guarantees 100% segregation of each order. When your order arrives at our facility one employee is assigned to your order and that person processes and is dedicated to your order from the time that it arrives until it is packaged and ready to be delivered back to you.

Can you treat tough stains?

We are very good at getting tough stains out of your clothing. Although we can’t guarantee success in every instance – we will endeavour to remove each and every stain. If we’re unable to get one out we’ll let you know.

How do you charge?

Your order is charged by the pound. Our rate is $1.80 per pound with a $69 minimum.

How do I know how much my laundry weighs?

We use a professional, legal for trade scale to weigh your laundry. Our scale is accurate to ± 0.1 lb.

Estimating the weight of a load of laundry is tricky because a small bag of kid’s T-shirts will weigh less than the same sized bag full of adult jeans - but this may help...

An average home style top-loading washing machine (the kind you grew up with) holds around 15 pounds of laundry. So, with that in mind, you can take a look at your clothes and roughly estimate how many loads you would have and multiply that by 15 to get the estimated poundage.

How does payment work?

We make this simple! When your Greenlife driver returns your order you have the option of paying with Visa^®, Mastercard^® or cash.
